Emilee Kurt is a writer, wife, and creative who loves strong coffee, studying Scripture, and playing Catan. She’s a graphic designer and marketing gal by day and 24/7 obsessed with seeing the women of God experiencing abundant life in Jesus’ name. Emilee graduated from Kansas State University with her Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in graphic design, and she currently runs her creative business Clementine Creative from her home office. Emilee has been writing about the goodness of Jesus online for over a decade and scribbling notes in her Bible since she could hold a pen. Out of the lack of all she was seeing women experience in their relationships with the Lord, Emilee became a licensed Go+Tell Gal coach in 2020 where she was trained by Jess Connolly to equip women to get unstuck and live on mission. She loves connecting with readers and sharing behind the curtain about what it practically looks like to live abundantly through trauma, trials, and the mundane. After years of heartbreaking ministry experience, Emilee founded a community called With The Shepherd that provides a place for the ones always pouring out in ministry to be poured into. Within this community, she creates products, coaches 1-on-1, and leads a writing team monthly to meet their personal and professional writing goals. She and her husband, Zach, have been married for 5 years and have a sweet lab named Usher (yes, after the R+B singer). Committed to the local church, Zach and Emilee have been members of Vintage Faith Church in Manhattan, Kansas since the spring of 2023.
WHAT I BELIEVE
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshiped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen. — Nicene Creed
